Concert Etiquette
Out of respect for our performers, we ask you:
- Please remain seated and quiet while the performance is in progress.
- If it is necessary to arrive late or leave early, please do so only in between performances.
- Applause is the appropriate way to show appreciation.
- Whistling, yelling, and screaming are not appropriate in a concert setting.
- Please turn off all pagers, cellular phones and watch alarms, as they will disrupt a concert setting.
- Please refrain from using flash photography, as this can be very distracting to the performers.
- Keep small children seated and do not allow them to move around during the concert.
- Please take children from the performance area if they become a distraction to other audience members.
Important Information Regarding Concerts - This is directly from the handbook!!
Performances are required. There are no exceptions to this unless it is an emergency, extreme illness, or death in the family. Performances are a one-time deal. If you miss it, there is no make-up. If your reason for missing is excused by Mr. Lull, then a make-up will be offered. When it comes to sports conflicts, everything will be done to accommodate the student to try and do both, but remember, a concert is only done once, and there are many games in a season. . Sports (school sponsored or travel teams) and WORK are not an excuse to miss a performance. THESE DATES ARE ON THE CALENDAR THAT IS GIVEN OUT IN SEPTEMBER. PLEASE PLAN AHEAD. Please contact Mr. Lull immediately when a known conflict arises. Accommodations cannot be made when told less than 3 weeks from the performance.
